When visitors step inside Seedhouse Creative’s offices for the first time, most are immediately struck by its bold, energetic, and slightly quirky vibe. Housed on the top floor of the historic River Square building, Seedhouse Creative’s walls are covered with examples from its extensive body of work, which now spans more than 25 years.
Employing some of the most talented artists, designers, and copywriters in the Central Texas area, Seedhouse Creative provides marketing, advertising, graphic design, and social media services for a broad range of local industries and nonprofit organizations. Among its clients are Waco’s Cameron Park Zoo, the Mayborn Museum, Baylor Business School and JRBT. Many of Seedhouse Creative’s clients have shared a collaborative relationship with the company since its earliest days.
The range of media in which the Seedhouse team works is as eclectic as its client list. On any given day, you might find team members designing exhibit panels for one of Waco’s museums, developing a comprehensive advertising campaign for an institution of higher learning, or creating custom illustrations for an alumni magazine. A later visit would likely reveal works in progress for an entirely different set of clients: writing marketing copy for an area bank, designing a website for a nationally known accounting firm, or editing an employee training video.
While Seedhouse Creative is widely known for its expertise in delivering powerful messages through the strategic combination of copywriting, graphic design, and photography, its team members consider themselves to be, first and foremost, experts in the collaborative process. Internal collaboration between team members is a routine and daily occurrence, so Seedhouse team members especially look forward opportunities to work directly with clients, seamlessly blending their different areas of expertise to meet a common challenge.
Seedhouse Creative owes its longevity to three defining characteristics: talent, passion and chemistry. Since getting its start in a small five-room house in Waco’s Castle Heights neighborhood, Seedhouse Creative has always had the good fortune to hire gifted creatives who deeply care about the work they do. But talent and passion are no guarantee that a company will stay in business for a long time. Seedhouse Creative’s many years of success has everything to do with the chemistry its team members share with each other, with their creative partners and with their clients.
Of Seedhouse’s team, more than a third have worked together for 17 years or more. Seedhouse team members simply enjoy working with each other, and their mutual respect and love of collaboration is reflected in the exceptional work they turn out.
